Yoga reduces heart risks, affirms a new study

A new study has found that yoga may be as good as biking, brisk walk and aerobic exercises in reducing the risk of heart diseases.

The study was conducted on nearly 2800 people and yoga gave wide-ranging benefits and improved many metabolic indicators such as LDL (bad) and HDL (good) cholesterol, and blood pressure.

Yoga's benefits on heart, both for prevention and cure of diseases, have been well-documented in earlier studies and have been corroborated by this study. We link here the original article published in European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. Some references in this article itself talk of such benefits. Hope, the link is not lost after some time.
